The judicial conveyor in Belarus continues. Among the repressed, there are already two dozens activists of the REP Trade Union.
Today, on March 17, the court of the Tsentralny District of Gomel issued a warning to the legal inspector of the REP Trade Union Leonid Sudalenko for his participation in the “Non-Parasite March”, which was held in Gomel on February 19.
Andrei Strizhak, a trade union activist, was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest.
Gennady Fedynich, the Chairman of the RE Trade Union, received a fine of 50 basic units.
The praca-by.info was informed by Nikolai Gerasimenko, the press secretary of the REP Trade Union, that as of today, over 20 REP activists have been repressed for their participation in peaceful protests against Ordinance No. 3. They were sentenced to imprisonment for the terms from 2 to 15 days, as well as punished by fines for a total of 262 basic units (6026 roubles, or more than 3000 euros).
