KGB agents detained his 30-year-old son Andrei Komlik-Yamakhin.
Andrei Komlik-Yamakhin was among the detained activists, who more than 10 years ago consisted were members of the officially registered "Patriot" historical-patriotic organization.
Igor Komlik told the praca-by.info that the KGB agents came to his home with a search warrant today at 2 o’clock at night, after his son was detained.
“Six men came, together with their search witnesses, and showed me a search warrant. They said that they had searched the residence of my son, and detained him. They came to our home, because the son is registered there. The search lasted for about an hour and a half. Of course, they found nothing. However, that’s clear that the situation is unpleasant, to say the least,” said the trade unionist.
He said that his son Andrei has long not been involved in any public activities.
“Some ten years ago, he was a member of the ‘Patriot’ organization. It is an officially registered historical and patriotic club. They held summer camps, took care of the graves of the soldiers of World War II, and studied history. Now he has a family, a small child; he has work; he and his wife are engaged in handicraft – they are embroidering national patterns. I think that on the eve of March 25, they decided to stage another horrifying campaign for people; as they once told about dead rats. And since they could find nobody else suitable in the country, they raised old case files and captured the guys. Of course, we are shocked by such actions of the authorities and law enforcement bodies,” said Igor Komlik.
