Vital Rymasheuski, a Co-Chairman of the Belarusian Christian Democracy (BChD) has called on to support the REP Trade Union and come to the trial of its leaders Gennady Fedynich and Igor Komlik that starts on July 30.
"Belarusian authorities are vilely, silently but persistently liquidating Belarus. Over the past three years, they have destroyed the independent sociology, and are eliminating independent mass media. Today, they attack the independent trade unions. On July 30, they start trying the leaders of the independent REP Trade Union. They need our solidarity as never before! The simplest thing we can do is to come and support them during the trial. Belarus' future depends on how strong our solidarity and the ability to defend each other are today," Mr Rymasheuski has stated.
The first court session will start at 11:30 a.m. on July 30 in the courthouse at No. 33 Semashko Street in Minsk.
